Vendor's Agreement

As a vendor on mycityartisans.ca you must be at least 18 years old to open an account. All transactions are a legally binding agreement between both buyers & vendors for products and services found on this website. My City Artisans will not be held responsible, nor shall we mediate any conflicts arising between those parties. My City Artisans does not partake in the transaction, nor do we collect any commission on sales made to vendors.
You represent that all information you have submitted during the registration process to the site is truthful and accurate. Always ensure that your username and password to login to your account are kept secret. If you think that your username and/or password have been compromised at any time and that someone may be falsely accessing your account, please notify us right away.
Make sure to update all information to your account when changes occur. You may not share your account with someone else to jointly sell products through one web page.
Vendors warrant that they have created and own what they have listed. Vendors must not misrepresent the products or services they list for sale. My City Artisans is not responsible for any intellectual property (i.e. copywrited, trademarked & patented materials, industrial designs, etc.) used by any artisan that post their handmade items for sale on our site. Artisans are responsible to comply with all Intellectual Property Laws (copywrite, trademark, patents, etc.) applicable.
You will honour the posted prices and any applicable taxes and shipping fees as mutually agreed upon with buyers at the time of purchase. Products will be shipped in a reasonable and timely manner. Should unforseen circumstances arise, please have the courtesy to notify buyers of any delays or to make other arrangements.
Art is broad and can take on endless platforms of expression. My City Artisans encourages that freedom, however there are some products that we cannot accept and will not tolerate for sale on our site and they include, but are not limited to:
- items that incite hatred or violence towards a targeted group of individuals
- any child or adult pornographic material
- items containing hazourdous materials
- items made in whole or in part wih products that are known to be unsafe
- firearms and explosives
- alcohol, drugs and tobacco products
- stolen, illegal and counterfeited items
- products made from blackmarket or contraband items (i.e. ivory from elephant tusks or parts from other endangered animal species)
- mass produced factory items (i.e. items not handmade & created by you)
- items that My City Artisans deems to be socially inappropriate
My City Artisans reserves the right to delete incomplete vendor accounts at their sole discretion after 30 days of registering to the site. To the effect of this agreement, incomplete vendor accounts constitute those that contain no product items for sale and no store name listed. Should the registrant fail to add at least one product photo and a store name within 30 days of registering to the site, their vendor account may be deleted without further notice. Former registrants who wish to rejoin My City Artisans at a later date are welcome to do so provided they comply and adhere to the terms and conditions that are in effect in the Vendor's Agreement and any other agreements posted on this site.
